Job summary

Lawson Elliott Recruitment in Sydney CBD is seeking a commercially focused FP&A Analyst to join a fast-paced retail and services business. You will support budgeting, forecasting and planning processes across a multi-site network.

You will prepare reporting packs, perform financial analysis, and partner with operational stakeholders to drive commercial decision-making, risks, opportunities and process improvements. CA/CPA with 4+ years’ experience required.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualified with 4+ years of experience as an Analyst or Accountant.
• Experience in retail company or Big 4/2nd-tier accounting firm.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support budgeting, forecasting and planning processes.
• Prepare reporting packs, analysis and commentary.
• Review business performance and provide insights on key trends.
• Partner with operational stakeholders to support commercial decision-making.
• Identify risks, opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Assist with business cases, financial modelling and ad hoc analysis.
• Support month-end processes and review of financial results.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve reporting and processes.
