Scyne Advisory in Sydney seeks a Finance and Reporting Analyst to deliver accurate financial reporting, analysis and insights that enable informed decision making. You will partner with the Finance team and across all functions to support the business, lead month-end processes, coordinate audits and produce timely statutory and management reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics (CA or CPA preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis and reporting with strong modelling and data analysis skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Month-End Oversight: assist with close processes and deliver statutory, financial and management reporting with actionable insights.
• Robust Financial Controls & Compliance: maintain internal control frameworks, reconciliations, and policy compliance across procurement and expenses.
• Strategic Financial Analysis & Modelling: build predictive models, forecasts, and analytics to identify trends and inform leadership decisions.
• Systems Optimisation & Process Improvement: drive improvements across core finance ops and leverage D365 for reporting and controls.
• Cross-Functional Advisory & Governance: partner with internal units and oversee third-party service providers to ensure governance and delivery standards.
