Ambition in Sydney is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner for an initial 6-month contract with a strong likelihood of permanency. The role partners with senior stakeholders across NSW Government, delivering strategic financial support and challenging assumptions to influence decision-making.

You will cover budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting, and scenario analysis, driving insights that shape short- and long-term objectives.

Qualifications

Proven experience in finance business partnering with senior stakeholders.
Strong analytical and modelling abilities.
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting.
Ability to influence strategic decisions with financial insights.
Experience in complex organisations and stakeholder management.

Responsabilités

Partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial and commercial support.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Deliver meaningful analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
Prepare financial models, scenario analysis, and business case evaluations.
Monitor performance against budgets and identify risks and opportunities.
Present financial information clearly to finance and non-finance audiences.
Support development of financial strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.
Drive improvements in reporting, planning, and analytical processes.
