Job summary

Overnewton Anglican Community College seeks an experienced Director of Business and Finance to lead the College’s financial and business operations. You will report to the Principal and be a member of the College Executive, shaping strategy, governance and long-term sustainability for about 2,000 students across two campuses in Melbourne.

The role covers financial strategy, payroll, facilities, procurement, risk, compliance and governance, including the office of Company Secretary.

Qualifications

Experience leading financial strategy across financial, operational and governance functions.
Oversee finance, payroll, facilities, procurement and risk/compliance.
Act as Company Secretary and governance adviser to the Board.
Demonstrates strong cultural acumen and commercial judgement.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic and operational leadership of the College’s financial, commercial, operational and governance functions.
Oversee finance, payroll, facilities and procurement, accounts payable/receivable, and information systems.
Hold the office of Company Secretary and advise the Board on governance and compliance.
Lead capital planning, enterprise agreement costing and risk management changes.
Collaborate with Principal and College leadership to deliver strategic priorities.
