Job summary

Macquarie University Information Technology is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to provide strategic architectural leadership across core application domains, including engagement, student, research and enabling services such as finance, HR and facilities. This 2-year fixed-term role is hybrid, with three days in the office per week at Wallumattagal Campus, North Ryde.

Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise architecture in large, complex organisations.
• Ability to translate business needs into architecture direction and actionable roadmaps.
• Knowledge of EA frameworks, governance and strategic planning processes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide enterprise-wide architectural leadership to guide technology direction.
• Define, maintain and communicate the enterprise architecture vision and roadmaps.
• Develop current/target state architectures and transition plans with capability models.
• Provide governance and assurance for major programs, projects, and procurements.
• Contribute to architecture governance boards and manage technical debt transparently.
• Identify opportunities to rationalise and modernise the technology landscape.
