Job summary

atWork Australia is seeking an Employer Engagement Consultant to join our Employment Services team in Sydney. You will develop and manage relationships with local employers to create job opportunities and support clients into lasting work.

You will partner with Job Coaches, identify leads through market engagement, and deliver post-placement support to ensure long-term employment success while contributing to KPI-driven outcomes in a purpose-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in relationship management and/or advocacy for clients.
• Motivated to exceed KPIs in a target-driven environment.
• Strong communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
• Confident in building relationships with diverse industries.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Holds a current Australian Driver’s Licence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with local employers to generate job opportunities.
• Proactively identify leads through networking and market engagement.
• Partner with Job Coaches to prepare candidates for the labour market and align them with employer needs.
• Deliver post-placement support to employers to ensure long-term employment success.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support clients at risk and improve retention outcomes.
• Work to KPIs and performance targets in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.
