Job summary

The State Government of Victoria seeks a Delivery Manager in Melbourne to lead and oversee the delivery of contractual milestones across internal teams and external vendors. You will ensure releases are planned and executed through all environments in line with governance, contracts and commercial arrangements.

You will blend traditional project practices with Agile methods, manage dependencies, and provide reporting to executives while maintaining delivery accountability across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Extensive Delivery Management experience on complex IT programs with multiple streams.
• Strong stakeholder negotiation and influencing skills at senior levels.
• Experience in multi‑stream release management and roadmapping.
• Ability to design processes that improve end‑user value and efficiency.
• Blends traditional project principles with tailored Agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of contractual milestones across internal and vendor teams.
• Ensure delivery aligns with governance, obligations and commercial arrangements.
• Oversee release planning, testing, production deployment and handover.
• Maintain SDLC governance, continuous improvement and reporting.
• Engage executives and SMEs to plan dependencies and impacts.
