Job summary

We are seeking a project management professional to lead delivery on medium-sized programmes in a dynamic portfolio, coordinating with clients and internal teams to achieve milestones and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Proven successful experience in project management on medium sized projects.
• Developed communication, presentation and project planning skills.
• Developed budgetary oversight expertise.
• Advanced proficiency in communicating, coordinating activities with stakeholders.
• Understanding of project management methodologies and practices.
• Strong negotiation skills to support client focus.
• Experience in managing internal budgets and fees to deliver outcomes.
• Understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing.
• Developed bidding skills.
• Significant experience in project management on medium sized or complex projects.
• Experience in construction delivery phase of projects.
• Professional qualification in relevant project portfolio/s.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety first and uphold Mace's safety framework across teams.
• Possess technical knowledge of local health and safety rules relevant to the project portfolio.
• Foster a diverse and inclusive environment and support wellbeing of team.
• Ensure robust quality systems aligned with service excellence.
• Manage project delivery from inception through construction milestones.
• Support senior leaders and client teams to ensure timely, accurate delivery.
• Oversee project budgets and identify risks, challenges and mitigations.
• Contribute to long-term development of function or business unit.
• Uphold Mace values and hold others to account where needed.
• Lead design and wider consultant teams to complete responsibilities.
• Direct and manage project team and stakeholders to meet KPIs.
• Network, innovate, and share best practices across Mace groups.
