Job summary

Bendigo Bank seeks a Transformation Lead for Credit Risk Initiatives to drive modernization of credit decisioning, streamline lending workflows, and align practices with the highest prudential standards as part of our 2030 vision.

You will lead the design and delivery of strategic initiatives, partnering with Credit Risk, Policy, Tech squads and frontline bankers to deliver faster, more efficient outcomes for customers and bankers.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of credit risk principles and lending frameworks.
• Experience leading end-to-end transformation from design to implementation (including UAT).
• Experience influencing policy design or improving underwriting workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead scoping, designing, and executing credit transformation initiatives.
• Translate between Credit Risk, Policy, Tech squads and frontline Bankers to embed risk into digital platforms.
• Balance prudent risk management with market-leading customer experience.
• Champion modernization of credit policies and frameworks to improve decision times and reduce friction.
