Job summary

CyberCX is seeking a Strategic Communications Senior Manager to lead client-focused crisis communications and strategic risk programs. You will develop communications plans, engage high-stakes stakeholders, and guide executive communications in cyber-related incidents.

You will oversee client engagements, lead crisis exercises with C-suite audiences, and drive the day-to-day strategic communications agenda while coaching teams to raise capability and delivery excellence.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in communications within global consultancies, tech firms, or PR agencies.
  • Experience managing press and media in adversarial situations.
  • Confident liaising with journalists and public relations professionals.
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments and manages multiple engagements.
  • Knowledge of cyber security is a bonus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic communications advice and stakeholder management for cyber-related crises.
  • Lead and participate in tabletop simulations with executive audiences in partnership with internal teams.
  • Present to clients on crisis communications and strategic risk management.

Day to day you will
  • Evaluate customers’ business needs and advise on strategic communications planning
  • Leading presentations to clients around crisis communications
  • Evaluate customers’ business needs and advise on strategic communications planning
  • Contribute to the management of engagement financials to support sustainable and profitable client delivery
  • Lead, coach, and build high performing teams to enable learning, development, and capability uplift. Understand each team member’s skills, drivers, and aspirations. Continue to work with them to develop, raise capability, and build a career and progression plan
Skills & Qualifications
  • Extensive experience working for a global consulting firm, large technology company, or PR Agency, in communications, or corporate affairs, ideally with experience across crisis management or strategic risk
  • Experience dealing with Press and Media in Adversarial situations
  • Confident liaising with journalists and Public Relations
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
  • Cyber Security knowledge is a bonus but not essential
