Redland City Council is seeking a Senior Communications Adviser to lead communications and community engagement for major projects on the Redlands Coast. You will work with project leaders, provide trusted advice, and help build community understanding, confidence and trust.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering strategic communications, media, marketing and community engagement initiatives.
• Experience developing and implementing communication strategies that meet objectives.
• Strong stakeholder management with the ability to influence outcomes across diverse groups.
• Experience advising senior leaders and project stakeholders with high-level communications guidance.
• Proven ability to manage complex communications projects across multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong consultation, negotiation and client management skills.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful outcomes.
• Sound planning and budget management capabilities.
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Communications, Marketing or related discipline.
