Overview

We are seeking experienced Strategic Communication Managers to join a major Federal Government program driving critical national initiatives. This is a 12-month engagement with two 12-month extension options, offering the opportunity to shape and deliver high-impact communication strategies within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver end-to-end internal communication strategies to support awareness and adoption of change initiatives.
  • Develop evidence-based communication plans and create multi-channel content for diverse audiences.
  • Provide specialist advice on communication design, development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Collaborate and influence stakeholders and subject matter experts to achieve business outcomes.
  • Prepare reports and briefings for senior officials and manage accurate completion of work within timeframes.
  • Develop content for various channels including social media, eDM, web, and publications.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in planning, managing, and evaluating internal and external communication initiatives.
  • Strong background in writing and implementing communication strategies.
  • Expertise in developing content for multiple communication channels.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to engage stakeholders and build strong relationships.
  • Tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing, or public relations (desirable but not essential).
