Job summary

Dungog Shire Council is seeking a strategic and technically skilled Coordinator Assets to lead asset management and property functions, supporting long-term infrastructure sustainability across the Shire. You will report to the Manager Assets & Engineering and shape the future capital works program through data-driven insights and renewal forecasting.

You will oversee asset management systems, coordinate condition inspections and ensure transparent, compliant asset, property and procurement

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or related discipline with contemporary experience.
• Experience in asset management planning, lifecycle modelling and asset systems administration.
• Knowledge of pavement management systems and asset condition inspections.
• Experience with development-related asset processes including signoffs and Roads Act approvals.
• Experience overseeing property management and procurement in local government or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead asset management planning, lifecycle modelling and renewal forecasting.
• Oversee asset systems, inspections and governance across infrastructure portfolio.
• Coordinate development-related asset processes (Roads Act approvals and signoffs).
• Provide oversight of property management and procurement functions.
• Lead a team and liaise with internal departments, contractors and developers.
