Job summary

Toll Group is seeking a reliable Storeperson with LF Forklift License to join the Defence Theatre Logistics (DTL) team at Randwick Barracks, Randwick NSW. You will support warehouse operations, inventory control, freight handling and the safe movement of Defence equipment in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

This role requires Australian citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain the required Australian Government security clearance.

Qualifications

  • Experience in warehousing, logistics, or related industries.
  • Current forklift license (or willingness to obtain).
  • Driver’s license (C class).
  • Working outdoors to deliver stores and equipment to defence personnel in the field.
  • Physically fit for manual handling tasks.

  • Strong time management skills in a fast-paced environment.

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Storeperson with LF Forklift License to join our Defence logistics and warehousing team. This role is responsible for supporting warehouse operations, inventory control, freight handling, and the safe movement of Defence-related equipment and materials. This role requires candidates to be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain the relevant Australian Government security clearance.

Based at Randwick Barracks in Randwick NSW , the successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment where accuracy, accountability, reliability and teamwork are essential.

Duties will include use of WMS, MHE, inventory management, receiving, storing, picking, packing, and distribution of Defence equipment, supplies, and materials. Working under the supervision of the Team Leader, the Store Person Grade2ensures that all tasks are performed in compliance withToll Government & Defence contractual requirements,Defence regulations, safety protocols, and operational standards. The role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment tomaintaininga safe, clean, and efficient working environment.

As a Storeperson, you’ll be the backbone of our site operations, ensuring efficient, safe, and compliant warehouse processes. Reporting to the Operations Manager and working closely with Team Leaders, you will:

  • Receive, store, pick, pack, and dispatch Defence equipment and supplies.
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Use warehouse systems to manage stock accurately and action reports.
  • Maintain safety standards, site cleanliness, and compliance with Defence regulations.
  • Collaborate with your team to achieve operational targets and deliver results that matter.

We’relooking for motivated individuals who bring:

  • Experience in warehousing, logistics, or related industries (desirable but not essential).
  • A current forkliftlicense(or willingness to obtainone).
  • A valid driver’slicense(C class).
  • Working outdoors to deliver stores and equipment to defence personnel in the field
  • Physical fitness for manual handling tasks.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.

Eligibilityto make the grade

  • You Must be an Australian Citizen.
  • Be eligible to obtain and maintain an AGSV Defense Security Clearance (Baseline level or higher depending on role).
  • Be prepared to undertake pre-employment checks including criminal history, medical, and other background assessments.
