Job summary

Weir Group is seeking a Store Person at Eastern Creek, NSW, to join a safety‑minded warehouse team. In this hands‑on role, you’ll handle products, prepare shipments, and support inventory movements across diverse warehouse functions.

You’ll use RF scanners, operate forklifts, and collaborate with internal teams and transport providers. Forklift license is essential, and prior warehouse experience is preferred to uphold safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Pick, handle, and move products safely using manual methods and equipment.
• Prepare outbound shipments by packing, repackaging, labeling, and packing goods.
• Operate warehouse equipment including RF scanners, hand tools, forklifts, and high-reach trucks.
• Manage inventory and stock movements using warehouse management systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams and transport providers during loading/unloading.
• Demonstrate zero harm safety behaviors in the workplace.

What you’ll do

• Pick, handle, and move products safely using manual methods, material handling equipment, and mechanical aids.
• Prepare outbound shipments by packaging, repackaging, labelling, and packing goods to customer-specific requirements.
• Operate warehouse equipment and tools, including RF scanners, hand tools, forklifts, and high-reach trucks.
• Manage inventory and stock movements using warehouse management systems, covering receiving, put-away, picking, and dispatch.
• Coordinate with internal teams, transport providers, and stakeholders while loading and unloading a variety of vehicle types.
• Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world-class safety culture.

What you’ll bring

• Previous working experience in a warehouse or logistics role
• Exposure to RF scanning
• Forklift license (Essential)
• Good physical fitness, capable of lifting and moving heavy items
