Job summary

Accor Brisbane Lounges is seeking a proactive Hospitality Operations Assistant to receive goods, load and unload stock, and support Food & Beverage teams across the airport lounges. This Full Time role starts early (5:00–5:30am) and offers a dynamic, team‑driven environment with opportunities to grow in hospitality logistics and operations.

You will communicate with external freight and security teams, manage stock, and assist the Executive Chef and Duty Managers.

Qualifications

• This role will suit someone with keen interest in hospitality and logistics.
• Experience in fast-paced hospitality roles is advantageous.
• Great team player, friendly and social.
• Enjoys manual handling and a fast-paced team environment.
• Own transport and a valid driver’s licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Receiving a large variety of incoming goods to the Qantas Lounge domestic terminal; fresh produce, wet and dry goods, alcohol and beverages for bar service points, lounge equipment.
• Loading/unloading stock and using manual handling equipment (eg electric trolleys).
• Stock control and liaising with external freight, logistics providers and airport security teams.
• Support Executive Chef, Kitchen team, Duty Managers and Food & Beverage staff.
• Adhere to aviation security regulations and pass ASIC checks if required.

Job Description

Work with two iconic businesses and experience the buzz of the airport and the Lounges.

As a part of the Accor team at Brisbane Lounges you will play a pivotal role in receiving incoming goods, loading and unload products and working with a broad range of stakeholders across food and beverage operations, airport security and external logistics suppliers.

We have a large, vibrant team of professionals working across our Kitchen and Front of House Food and Beverage Operations.

This is a social, fast paced manual handling role supporting all food and beverage departments.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Supporting our stores team members
• Receiving a large variety of incoming goods to the Qantas Lounge domestic terminal - eg fresh produce, wet and dry goods, alcohol and beverages for bar service points, Lounge equipment
• Working with manual handling equipment - eg electric trolleys
• This is a physical role, manual handling lifting, unloading stock
• Communicating with external freight and logistics providers and airport security teams
• Stock control
• Supporting our Executive Chef and Kitchen team as well as onsite Duty Managers and Food & Beverage team members.
• Adhering to aviation security regulations
• Suitable candidate will be willing to undergo a federal police check in order to obtain an ASIC (Aviation Security Identification Card)

This is a Full Time position - Shifts generally starting between 5-5.30am.

Immediate start available.

Qualifications

This role will suit someone who has a keen interest in developing their hospitality skills into a logistics or warehouse or aviation freight focused role

If you have worked in hospitality - fast paced bar, restaurant and stock focused role would be ideal

Great team player, friendly and social

Do you love a manual handling and fast paced team environment

Own transport and current drivers license is essential
