Job summary

Nevmat Australia is seeking a reliable Storeman for our Braemar, NSW workshop. This full-time role focuses on inventory control, stock organisation and safe warehouse practices.

You will operate forklifts and handling equipment, manage stock counts and dispatch orders, while maintaining clean, compliant storage areas and supporting deliveries.

• Proven experience working as a Storeman or in a similar role.
• Forklift licence or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Appropriate physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks regularly.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, checking and unloading goods and materials into the warehouse.
• Organising and storing stock items.
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular stock counts and inspections.
• Picking and packing orders in preparation for dispatch.
• Operating warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks and other material handling machinery.
• Maintaining cleanliness, safety and organisation of the warehouse and storage areas in compliance with workplace standards.
• Identifying and reporting damaged, defective or obsolete stock items.
• Assisting with the loading of vehicles for deliveries.
