Job summary

The Automotive Group in Moorebank NSW is seeking a full-time Store Person to manage and organise inventory and support efficient warehouse operations. This hands-on role focuses on keeping goods flowing and ensuring customers receive orders accurately and on time.

You'll receive and unload incoming goods, pick and pack items with precision, maintain inventory records, and operate warehouse equipment (forklifts if certified). A strong emphasis on safety, teamwork and reliability is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Store Person or Warehouse Assistant.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail when picking and packing items to ensure accuracy.
• Physical fitness to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy items.
• Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Commitment to health and safety standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and unloading incoming goods and verifying stock against delivery documents.

• Maintaining accurate inventory records and assisting with stock counts and cycle counts.

• Ensuring the warehouse remains clean, tidy and complies with health and safety standards.
• Processing returns and damaged goods according to company procedures.
• Supporting team members during peak periods and assisting with ad hoc warehouse projects as required

The Automotive Group is seeking a full-time Store Person to join our team at our Moorebank NSW facility. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and organising inventory, ensuring efficient warehouse operations, and supporting the smooth running of our storage and distribution activities. This is a hands‑on position that plays a vital role in maintaining the flow of goods through our facility and ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time.

What you'll be doing

Receiving and unloading incoming goods, verifying stock against delivery documentation and identifying any discrepancies

Picking and packing items according to customer orders with accuracy and efficiency

Organising and storing goods in designated locations within the warehouse, ensuring proper labelling and easy retrieval

Maintaining accurate inventory records and assisting with stock counts and cycle counts

Operating warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, trolleys and forklifts (if certified)

Ensuring the warehouse remains clean, tidy and complies with health and safety standards

Processing returns and damaged goods according to company procedures

Supporting team members during peak periods and assisting with ad hoc warehouse projects as required

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Store Person, Warehouse Assistant, or similar role in a warehouse or logistics environment

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Attention to detail, particularly when picking and packing items to ensure accuracy

Physical fitness and the ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift heavy items regularly and work in a warehouse environment

Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification is highly desirable
