Job summary

Service Stream is seeking a Warehouse Storeperson to manage stock, pick, pack and dispatch materials at our Clayton facility in Victoria. This full-time role requires forklift operation, strong organisation, safety focus and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

You will handle receiving, storage, stock counts and inventory records while supporting efficient dispatch and collaboration with drivers and internal teams. MR licence is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or storeperson role.
  • Forklift licence essential; MR truck licence preferred.
  • Experience using inventory or warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Ability to lift, move and handle materials safely.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Basic computer skills (email, data entry, inventory systems).

Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders and load trucks for dispatch.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock counts and cycles.
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (where licensed).
  • Keep warehouse areas clean, organized and compliant with safety standards.
  • Manage documentation including delivery dockets, manifests and inventory records.
  • Support inventory control, stock rotation and storage optimisation.
  • Liaise with internal teams, drivers and suppliers to coordinate deliveries and dispatch.
  • Assist with loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Job Description Summary

Service Stream are growing our team on VRMC and with this we have a need for a store person to manage stock and get trucks ready for crews to minimize downtime.

As a Warehouse Storeperson, you will play a vital role in supporting the efficient operation of Service Stream's VRMC contract. This role requires strong organisational skills, a safety‑first mindset, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring a clean, safe working environment.

This is a full-time permanent position based at our Clayton facility.

Key Responsibilities
