Job summary

ELK in Geelong is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to lead our team of stylists and cultivate strong customer relationships while championing our sustainable range and core ELK values. You will drive exceptional service, oversee daily store operations and rosters, coach staff, and ensure visual presentation reflects our brand guidelines.

This full-time role runs Tuesday to Saturday; part-time considered.

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Retail Manager to lead our team of highly capable stylists and continue to build on loyal and new customer relationships. You will share a love for our sustainable range, unique aesthetic and align with our core values. You are committed to delivering exceptional service and a consistent and memorable ELK shopping experience. Your people management experience, superior organisational skills and mentoring abilities will be essential for taking this stunning store to all new heights!

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Delivering exceptional service and the ELK experience to established and prospective customers
• Maintaining loyal customer base and actively building community connections
• Outfitting, styling, upselling and onselling our timeless products by engaging customers with aesthetic features and sustainable benefits
• Owning and driving smooth and efficient store operations
• Coaching, mentoring and elevating team members by consistently leading by example
• Ensuring all operations are effective, productive and in line with expectations
• Analysing store and team performance and implementing change for ongoing growth and development
• Managing rosters and wages to sales expenditure
• Merchandising and maintenance of store visual presentation in line with guidelines
• Effective and well received management and training of team members to optimise performance and retention
• Talent scouting and interviewing potential new joiners
• Living and breathing ELK as a true brand ambassador

What We'll Love About You
