Job summary

AMX Balcatta, part of Genuine Parts Company, is seeking a Store Manager to lead day-to-day operations, drive sales, ensure effective merchandising and stock control, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will build a high-performing team and handily manage a busy, seven-day trading environment.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will drive KPIs, Rostering, and staff development in a fast-paced motorcycle aftermarket setting, while upholding high standards of service and teamwork

Qualifications

• Retail management experience.
• Understanding of key retail KPIs.
• Ability to lead teams.
• Excellent communication and motivational techniques.
• Proven ability to achieve sales, wages, KPI’s & stock loss targets.
• Roster planning experience.
• Experience training new staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day store operations, ensuring merchandising, stock control and strong customer and team engagement.
• Lead by example to drive sales and KPIs with a proactive attitude.
• Maintain high standards and support a positive, people-focused environment.
• Report to Regional Manager and collaborate with AMX Balcatta and broader GPC Asia Pacific teams.

All about you:

Whether you come from the motorcycle industry or not, success in this role comes down to strong leadership, confidence, and the ability to hit the ground running. You'll oversee the day-to-day operation of the store, ensuring excellent merchandising, stock control, and customer and team engagement. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you'll drive sales and operational KPIs, maintain high standards, and lead by example with a proactive attitude and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

• Retail management experience
• Demonstrated understanding of the key performance indicators for a retail business

• Proven ability to achieve sales, wages, KPI’s & stock loss targets
• Understanding of Rostering
• Ability to Train new staff - ensuring they understand expectations and able to deliver
