Job summary

ALDI is hiring Store Assistants to join our outstanding retail team. No retail know-how needed—bring a positive attitude, good work ethic and willingness to learn. Stores open daily with varied duties across the shop floor, providing plenty of variety.

You’ll be a backbone of the store, assisting customers, stocking shelves, pricing, and creating appealing displays. Average of about 10.5 hours per week with permanent part-time perks such as paid leave, parental leave and sick leave.

Qualifications

• Retail experience not required; willingness to learn and a positive attitude.
• Strong work ethic and reliable team player.
• Excellent customer interaction and service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers at the registers with a smile and provide standout service.
• Keep shelves stocked so customers can find favourites.
• Ensure products are in date and priced correctly.
• Create eye-catching displays for ALDI special buys.
• Keep the store tidy, organised and looking great.
