Job summary

A leading Australian technology company is seeking an experienced Storage Engineer to provide operational support during the end-of-year shutdown. The role involves ensuring the stability and availability of large-scale storage and virtualisation platforms, with a focus on Dell Isilon and Dell VxRail. Candidates should possess strong hands-on experience with Dell storage and VMware operations, as well as excellent incident response skills. This is a short-term contract based in Sydney.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Storage Engineer in large enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Dell Isilon (OneFS) administration and support.
• Experience supporting Dell VxRail infrastructure and VxRail Manager.

Responsibilities

• Provide BAU and on-call operational support for storage and virtualisation platforms during the shutdown period.
• Monitor and support Dell Isilon storage arrays, ensuring availability of datasets.
• Troubleshoot VMware-related issues across vSphere 7 and 8 environments.
