South Western Sydney Local Health District Bankstown Hospital is seeking a Sterilisation Technician Grade 2 to join the busy Sterilising Services Department. This casual role (up to 38 hours) supports operating theatres and clinical care across Bankstown Hospital.

Applicants should hold a Certificate II or III in Sterilising Services and demonstrate knowledge of sterilisation principles, with the ability to process loan instrument sets and dental instruments if required.

Qualifications

• Certificate II or III in Sterilising Services.
• Knowledge of reprocessing reusable medical devices per standards.

Responsibilities

• Process high volume of surgical instruments and loan equipment accurately.
• Maintain turnover times in a fast-paced Sterilising Services Department.
