Job summary

CSIRO’s Education and Outreach team is seeking two motivated Engagement Officers to support recruitment, onboarding, engagement and retention of participants, volunteers and partners across our national STEM education initiatives.

You will connect education, industry and community stakeholders with CSIRO Education and Outreach opportunities and help deliver programs that enhance STEM teaching and learning, foster inclusion and equity, strengthen student pathways and partnerships, and embed

Qualifications

Requires tertiary qualification in Education, STEM education or Science Communication.
Demonstrated project administration experience and ability to manage competing priorities.
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills, plus excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

Support recruitment and onboarding of volunteers, participants and community organisations.
Coordinate applications and assess eligibility across STEM education programs.
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders from education, industry and community sectors.
Facilitate partnerships and support stakeholder engagement activities.
Manage participant and program data to support reporting and evaluation.
Assist with capability-building activities, events and program delivery.
Contribute to process documentation, reporting and stakeholder communications.
