Job summary

WorkPac is seeking a Machine Operator/Production Worker for our Helensvale depot on the Gold Coast. The role starts at 12pm and runs until 8:30pm, Monday to Friday, onsite.

You will operate steel processing and roll-forming machinery, set up equipment, perform quality checks and assist with packaging and general production tasks. The ideal candidate has previous machine operation or manufacturing experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operating, production or manufacturing experience.
• Mechanically minded with the ability to learn machine setup, operation and basic troubleshooting.
• Good attention to detail and ability to consistently produce work to quality specifications.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Forklift Licence and/or overhead/gantry crane (Highly Desirable)
• Drivers Licence and Reliable Transport.

Responsibilities

• Operate steel processing and roll-forming machinery safely and efficiently.
• Set up, monitor and adjust machinery during production runs.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products.
• Perform basic machine inspections, cleaning and routine maintenance.
• Assist with material handling, packing and general production duties while maintaining a clean and safe work area and meeting daily production targets.
