Job summary

RACQ is seeking a Statutory Reporting, Climate and Governance Lead to support RACQ’s statutory financial reporting, climate-related disclosures and governance activities. You will partner across Finance, Strategy, Risk, Sustainability, Legal and Company Secretariat to ensure accuracy, compliance and continuous improvement.

This senior role requires CPA/CA, extensive statutory reporting experience and strong governance knowledge, with a focus on delivering assurance-ready outcomes for Queensland

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related discipline with CPA or CA qualification.
• Extensive experience in statutory reporting, financial control, audit, governance, risk, compliance or sustainability reporting environments.
• Strong knowledge of statutory reporting requirements, reporting controls, governance processes and audit frameworks.
• Working knowledge of climate-related financial disclosure requirements, including AASB S2 and sustainability reporting obligations.
• Highly developed analytical, documentation and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional deliverables.
• Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into practical, well-governed reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and coordination of statutory financial reporting and annual reporting deliverables.
• Coordinate reporting timetables, workpapers, evidence packs and supporting documentation for review and audit purposes.
• Assist in the preparation of climate-related financial disclosures in accordance with AASB S2 Climate-related Disclosure requirements.
• Coordinate reporting inputs, methodologies, assumptions and management judgements to support assurance-ready reporting outcomes.
• Collaborate with Finance, Strategy, Risk, Sustainability, Legal and Company Secretariat teams to ensure reporting obligations are met.
