Europcar Mobility Group is seeking a Station Manager for our Brendale location in Brisbane to lead day-to-day operations, drive revenue growth, and deliver exceptional customer service. This full-time role requires strong leadership, fleet oversight, cost control, and staff development within a fast-paced rental environment.

As a key leader, you will promote a positive culture, monitor KPIs, and implement initiatives to improve fleet utilization.

If so, Europcar has an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Station Manager to lead our Brendale team on a full time basis. In this exciting role you will oversee the operations of the station and will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining fleet and driving revenue growth.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of Brendale
• Effectively control station costs to achieve financial targets
• All aspects of staff management including recruitment and performance
• Lead a team to promote a positive team culture
• Actively seek ways to increase initiations within the location
• Monitor KPIs and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase profitability
• Increasing vehicle utilisation and fleet availability

To be considered, you should possess:

• Proven experience in the car rental industry or similar role
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as intermediate computer skills
• Financial literacy and the ability to drive station revenue growth
• The ability to thrive under pressure and a resilient attitude
• Some fleet management experience (highly desirable)
• Valid Australian driver's license with a clean driving record
• Current and ongoing Australian work rights

At the end of the 19th century, the car was a luxury reserved for the elite, but interested everyone, attracting crowds: in 1898, the first car show was held in Paris. Car rental will see the light a few years later, across the Atlantic, but its development will be stopped by the first and then by the Second World Wars. In the aftermath of the war, a Parisian entrepreneur revived the idea: “If you can’t afford to buy a car, why not rent one when you need it?”. His name was Raoul-Louis Mattei and in 1949, he created "L'Abonnement Automobile": a company that would later become the Compagnie Internationale Europcars, then Europcar. Its headquarters, located 11 rue du Champ de Mars also included a rental agency. The company's success was rapid, as car rental responded to a real need. In 1951, l’Abonnement Automobile was the first company for car rental without a driver and its fleet counted 750 4 CV. Now, the Europcar Mobility Group has over 200,000 vehicles on average in its fleet and serves 5 million customers in more than 140 countries.
