Job summary

The Department of Health in Tasmania seeks an experienced leader to guide statewide hospital pharmacy education, training, and research initiatives. You will provide high-level operational leadership for education roles across the Statewide Hospital Pharmacy, shaping workforce development and professional standards.

Applicants should have extensive hospital pharmacy leadership experience, including governance, ethics, and evidence-based practice, with the ability to plan and evaluate education

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of education, training and development frameworks for Pharmacy staff.
• Expert knowledge of competency standards and professional accreditation.
• Experience delivering education, research and quality improvement in pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and planning for staff education and training.
• Lead education-focused pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
• Develop and deliver research programs and quality improvement initiatives.
