Job summary

Department of Health, Tasmania invites applications for Statewide Hospital Pharmacy Manager – Education, Research and Workforce Development. The role leads education strategy, professional development, and research activities across Tasmanian hospital pharmacy services.

You will shape training frameworks, supervise education staff, and drive quality improvement through research programs, collaborating with clinical governance and ethics frameworks.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification approved by the Pharmacy Board of Australia or overseas qualification eligible for skills assessment
Registered with the Pharmacy Board of Australia
Desirable: Driver’s Licence
Desirable: ANZCAP in Education/Leadership or related discipline

Responsibilities

Provide strategic direction and planning of education, professional development, and training frameworks for Statewide Hospital Pharmacy staff.
Provide high-level operational and professional leadership to pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in education roles across Statewide Hospital Pharmacy.
Lead development and delivery of research programs and quality improvement initiatives for Statewide Hospital Pharmacy.
