Job summary

Endeavour Group’s ALH division is seeking a State Gaming Manager to lead the successful execution of gaming strategy initiatives across the state portfolio, from Brisbane to Darwin. You’ll work with State Operations Teams, venues, and national functions to uplift gaming performance, ensure compliance, and elevate guest experiences.

You’ll coach venue gaming teams, drive promotion and location optimisation, and partner with Product to implement shared strategies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of business or adjacent gaming experience and experience delivering customer-facing products.
• Ability to define and deliver growth with analytics to measure performance.
• Excellent verbal communication and facilitation skills; present complex information clearly.
• Strong knowledge of state-specific regulatory & compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio covers Brisbane northern suburbs to Cairns, Mt Isa and Darwin

As the State Gaming Manager, you'll be responsible for the successful execution of the ALH gaming strategy initiatives in your state portfolio, which will be delivered through working closely with the State Operations Teams, individual venues and national functions that support Gaming, Regulatory and Compliance.

You'll also be responsible for providing solutions to venue gaming operations to improve performance, as well as upskilling venue gaming teams and creating pub experiences locals love in gaming.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

• Ensure that the State Gaming performance is delivering to expectations through:
  • Utilising machine location optimisation;
  • Jackpot optimisation;
  • Promotional activity centric to the individual needs of the venues;
  • Driving a culture of guest-first in gaming experience.
• Gather and specify competitor reviews, segmented by clubs, hotels and LGA's, aligning them with the groups gaming strategy.
• Trade planning.
• Lead venue teams in the Guest First program.
• Lead & coach our teams in our sustainability, AML & RCG strategies and initiatives.
• Participate in Gaming Team strategy meetings with a focus on continual improvement.
• Continue to evolve gaming managers induction programs and development.
• Identify, assist and develop teams knowledge in systems and operational procedures.
• Partnering with the State Operations teams on the successful execution of Gaming strategies within the state, including ensuring stakeholder feedback is included in the implementation planning.
• Work with the Product Team to ensure effective collaboration and execution of shared strategies.

What do we need from you

Now let's talk about you:

• 3+ years of business or adjacent gaming experience andexperience delivering customer-facing products
• Ability to define and deliver growth in our business coupled with experience working with analytics to measure performance
• Excellent verbal communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to present complex information in an easily digestible manner
• Strong knowledge of state specific regulatory & compliance requirements
• Strong knowledge of Gaming Systems, common game mechanics and the broader market
• Able to meet State / Territory licensing requirements (includes a probity check)
• Flexible to travel across the portfolio as required
