Job summary

Lendlease Development is seeking a Stakeholder and Community Engagement Manager to drive engagement for a key NSW project. The role focuses on building trusted relationships with clients, communities, government agencies and regulators, and delivering effective engagement programs across the project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has experience in major projects, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in stakeholder and community engagement within construction, property, infrastructure, engineering, transport, or major project environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.
• Sound judgement in handling complex or sensitive stakeholder issues and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder and community engagement activities with positive outcomes for clients, project teams and communities.
• Develop and implement engagement and communications strategies identifying risks, opportunities and priorities.
• Build trusted relationships with clients, communities, government agencies and regulators.
• Coordinate engagement initiatives: consultations, briefings, workshops, site activities and targeted campaigns.
• Monitor stakeholder sentiment and project impacts; advise on informed decision-making and issue management.
• Collaborate with project teams to improve engagement, communications and reporting across the project lifecycle.
