Job summary

FSI Engineering is seeking a Trade Assistant / Labourer for its stainless steel fabrication workshop in Brisbane. You will support tradespeople with fabrication tasks, help clean and passivate stainless-steel equipment, and handle loading/unloading duties while upholding quality and safety standards in a fast-paced team environment.

The role offers training and opportunities to grow within a diverse project landscape across water treatment, mining, and manufacturing sectors.

Qualifications

• LF forklift licence required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.
• Experience in stainless steel fabrication or metal manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Assist tradespeople with day-to-day fabrication tasks.
• Clean and passivate stainless-steel equipment.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Ensure the quality and safety of workshop outputs.
• Support a busy, collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
