Shield AI is seeking Software Engineers to develop and support software for research projects and commercial releases, reporting to the Director of Engineering. You will write code for Mission System and Support tools, fix bugs, and collaborate with other developers to design applications.

The role requires strong C++, JavaScript, and React.js skills, plus the ability to work independently or in a team while meeting schedules and communicating risks to leadership.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or Software Engineering or equivalent overseas qualification.
• Distinction average or demonstrated relevant experience.
• Strong analytic/problem solving skills.
• Ability to solve complex problems individually or in a team.
• Reliable and able to work to a schedule.
• Experienced in designing and implementing new software modules and maintaining/updating code.
• Strong C++, JavaScript and ReactJs development skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and support software products for research projects and for commercial release.
• Report to the Director of Engineering.
• Write code for Mission System and Support tools and fix bugs as directed.
• Meet agreed schedules and communicate delays promptly.
• Participate in ad-hoc discussions to design software and solve bugs.
