Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service seeks an exceptional Haematology consultant to join the Cancer Care Services on the Sunshine Coast. The role provides high quality clinical and laboratory haematology services, with a focus on safe care, quality improvement and departmental growth within a collaborative team.

The position is fixed-term, commencing January 2027 for 6 months with possible extension, offering base salary with generous allowances and superannuation under Queensland

Fixed-term temporary full-time position, 80 hours per fortnight, commencing January 2027 for 6 months with the possibility of extension.We are seeking an exceptional Haematology consultant to join our Cancer Care Services within the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service.As a Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service employee your salary includes:Base salary comprising of between:$8,552.80 - $9,934.60 p.f. (L18 - L24 Staff Specialist)$10,227.90 - $10,844.00 p.f. (L25 - L27 Senior Staff Specialist)Standard allowances (additional to base salary):Motor vehicle allowance (pro rata for Part-time)$23,395 p.a. (L18 - L24 Staff Specialist)$28,408 p.a. We care for our communities through Sunshine Coast University Hospital, Nambour General Hospital, Gympie Hospital, Maleny Soldier's Memorial Hospital, and Caloundra Health Service which includes a Minor Injury and Illness Clinic. We also provide care at a number of community and mental health sites, as well as Glenbrook Residential Aged Care.This position joins a rapidly growing tertiary-level haematology service in which you will provide high quality clinical and laboratory haematology services for our community, with a focus on leading safe care, driving quality improvement and innovation, and collaboratively contributing to Department growth and development within a multidisciplinary team.
