Job summary

NSW Health seeks a Staff Specialist in Anatomical Pathology at Concord Repatriation General Hospital. The appointee will provide high-quality diagnostic and on-call services, participate in teaching, research and quality improvement, and contribute to academic environment supporting research and development.

The role involves expertise in anatomical pathology including cytopathology, with opportunities to develop special interests such as renal, haematopathology or pulmonary pathology.

Qualifications

• Registered or eligible for AHPRA and Fellowship in Anatomical Pathology
• Commitment to basic or clinical research and medical education
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team with strong communication

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic, consultative and on-call Anatomical Pathology services
• Engage in teaching, research, quality improvement and admin duties
• Support academic environment including electron microscopy/FISH reporting
