Job summary

St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney is inviting applications for Staff Specialist Radiologists to join a tertiary imaging department with a diverse case mix and strong teaching and research emphasis.

The role involves responsibility for diagnostic reporting, on-call duties, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams within the Medical Imaging Department, aiming to maintain exceptional patient care and educational standards.

Qualifications

• Hold specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia and be eligible for a Medicare provider number.
• Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR) or equivalent.
• Subspecialty expertise in MSK and thoracic imaging is valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality diagnostic reporting.
• Report and validate imaging results promptly; communicate urgent reports.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, teaching and research duties.
• Promote patient care and the department's reputation; participate in on-call rosters.
