Job summary

Qualifications

• Deep backend engineering and design experience, especially in Java.
• Experience designing and operating microservices and REST APIs in production.
• Practical AWS/Amazon EKS experience, including containerised workloads.
• CI/CD and Git-based development, ideally with GitHub Actions.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps, automated testing and observability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and delivery of backend and integration services.
• Design, build and operate Java microservices and REST APIs on AWS and Amazon EKS.
• Shape event-driven solutions that integrate lifecycle management with bank channels.
• Embed full-cycle engineering practices across design, build, challenge and run.
• Mentor engineers, provide technical direction and unblock delivery.
• Collaborate with product, business and tech stakeholders to translate needs into solutions.
