Qualifications

• Experience in emergency medicine or residency in EM.
• Ability to work after-hours in a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong clinical judgement and rapid response skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage ED patients independently under supervision.
• Lead rapid response calls and assist with code blue events.
• Coordinate ward referrals and after-hours operations.

Role Info

This is a locum doctor role for a Emergency Medicine Resident at Griffith in NSW. Demonstrated ability to independently assess and manage Emergency Department patients under the supervision of the Senior CMO, Attending ward referrals, respond to Rapid Response and Clinical Review calls and assist with or/ when required, lead Code Blue responses (with the help of other team members / specialists).

Must demonstrate sound clinical judgement, early escalation practices and the ability to work effectively within an after-hours multidisciplinary team.
