Amazon is seeking an industrial engineer to lead the heartbeat of the satellite production facility. You will develop and maintain CAD models, rate calculators, and equipment lists to optimize production and product flow, unifying a production vision across multiple product lines while respecting constraints.

You will deliver factory layout plans in collaboration with area leaders, architects, and contractors, ensuring rate-capable facilities meet project timelines and departmental goals.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of experience in AutoCAD.

Description

Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. Export Control Requirement:

This role will be responsible for the heartbeat of satellite production facility delivery. They will develop and deliver plans for facility layout and function, and will unite production teams to achieve mission success. This individual will work with a wide variety of contractors, technicians, engineers, architects, and Amazon leaders to develop and deliver a vision that meets our satellite production goals.

Key job responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-level CAD models, rate calculators, and equipment lists for production and product flow through the factory
• Drive a unified production vision across a variety of different product lines within available constraints
• Deliver plans for layout and construction of factory cells based on co-development with area leaders to various stakeholders including architects, general contractors and internal Amazon real estate teams
• Work with internal and external teams to deliver rate capable facilities to meet timelines

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or other related discipline
• 5+ years of experience in production layouts in aerospace and or complex, high volume production.
• 3+ years of experience in AutoCAD

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production
• Experience with the project management of technical projects

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
