Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking a Springfield Lakes Skilled Labourer for consistent casual work across commercial and residential projects. You’ll perform site prep, digging, wheelbarrowing, lifting and assisting tradespeople on varied sites.

Earn $35.11 per hour with typical weekly earnings around $1,400+, plus 11.5% superannuation and a daily travel allowance. Immediate start available for reliable, physically capable applicants who can commit to regular shifts.

Qualifications

• 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant.
• Construction White Card is required.
• A current Driver Licence and reliable transport (highly preferred).
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Reliability and punctuality.

Responsibilities

What You'll Be Doing

Every day is different, with opportunities to work across a variety of industries including:

• Commercial and residential landscaping
• Residential and commercial construction
• Warehouse fit-outs and pallet racking installations
• Shopfitting and carpentry projects
• Demolition and strip-out work
• General labouring across manufacturing and industrial sites
• Site clean-ups and final cleans

Typical tasks include:

• Site preparation and clean-up

• Assisting qualified tradespeople
• General labouring duties as required

What We’re Looking For

To join our team you must have:

• Minimum 12 months' experience in general labouring or as a Trade Assistant
• Construction White Card

• Reliability and punctuality

PPE Requirements

You must supply your own PPE, including:

• Steel-capped boots
• Safety glasses
• High-visibility clothing
