HRS Talent Solutions is seeking a Spreadsheet Accuracy Assistant to perform checks on online sheets against source data. This is a careful office support role focusing on accuracy rather than data rewriting.
Working remotely, the role offers flexible full- or part-time hours; you will verify dates, names, and codes, flag discrepancies, and keep detailed records for reviewers.
No advanced formulas required — just attention to detail and reliable work habits.

The Spreadsheet Accuracy Assistant compares a supplied online sheet with the source information behind it. You may check names, dates, quantities, or reference codes and flag entries that do not agree. This is careful office support, not statistical analysis or authority to rewrite an underlying record without approval.
For example, a supplied roster may list one date in an email and another in the shared spreadsheet. You would compare the source, identify the row and field, and flag the conflict rather than quietly choosing a value. If several rows share the same error, note the pattern so the owner can review the source process. A checked row should show what was compared and whether it was corrected under instruction. These are straightforward but consequential checks: a small typo can send a later team to the wrong contact or document.
A spreadsheet may contain hundreds of routine entries, but each discrepancy needs context. A row that appears duplicated might represent two separate requests. A number that looks unusual may be correct in its source document. Check what is available and describe the uncertainty instead of changing data until it looks more consistent.
When a colleague asks whether the list is ready, answer from the record. A checked portion is not proof that the entire sheet is complete. If a source document is missing, note that limitation. These distinctions help the team use the information responsibly and avoid repeated checking.
Customer service experience can be helpful when asking a colleague for clarification; office administration experience can be helpful with careful records. Neither is required. Applicants beginning in data support are welcome. The team can introduce its particular sheet structure and correction rules; bring attention to detail and basic computer confidence.
When a sheet has several columns of similar-looking codes, verify that you are checking the field the source actually supports. A number can be correct in one column and wrong in another. If an approved correction is made, check for an unintended change to adjacent cells or formatting. Keep a note of the row and source so a reviewer can retrace the adjustment without repeating your entire assignment.
Some work may arrive as a defined batch. Mark the portion you completed, and make any unresolved rows visible. That allows another colleague to continue from the right place rather than assuming the whole file has passed review.
The job is remote and may be part-time or full-time. No advanced formulas or programming are assumed for this introductory version. The hiring company will confirm the actual source material, access, and schedule for the opening.
If a source itself contains a question or correction, preserve that context. Your task is to compare and flag, not to decide which conflicting source should become the authoritative value.
