Job summary

Geelong Grammar School in Geelong, Victoria, seeks multiple casual Cricket Coaches to support our Cricket programme at the Corio Campus, including training sessions and games throughout the week and Saturdays. Responsibilities

  • Planning and delivery of a coaching programme, including the development of specific training and skill development sessions (pre and in season)
  • Providing a match report and analysis to players and the School communications Office
  • Monitoring student attendance, performance, dress, and effectively communicating and encouraging the expectations of student behaviour
  • Regularly communicating and consulting with stakeholders, including Sports Office staff and Parents
  • Facilitating positive interactions with students and other internal and external coaches
  • Actively exercising a duty of care and monitoring the welfare of all students involved in the designated sport
  • Attending all professional development and induction programmes and activities as required including Anaphylaxis Management Accredited Training

About the role

We are seeking multiple casual Coaches to assist with our Cricket programme based at our Corio Campus. Previouscoaching experience ishighly desirable.It isanticipatedthat thesecasualroles willcommencein October 2026.Training/games occur throughout the week and Saturdays.

It is a condition of employment thatour Sports Coacheshold a current Working with Children Card (Employment) and a National Police Check.

The Sports Coach | Cricket is responsible for the following tasks:
