SPORTS BROADCAST CREW & PRODUCERS – EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

My Sport Live is expanding its production team and is seeking expressions of interest from broadcast crew and producers with experience or exposure to live sports environments.

We deliver live broadcasts across a wide range of grassroots and elite sporting competitions, including AFL, NRL, football, tennis, motorsport and other sporting codes, and are building a reliable crew pool to support ongoing and upcoming productions.

The Opportunity

Successful applicants will work across diverse sporting venues and competitions, supported by clear operational systems, structured communication, and experienced production leadership.

This opportunity is suited to:

• Producers with live sports broadcast experience, and
• Crew members at various stages of their broadcast careers who are seeking to develop practical, on-site experience within a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in live sports broadcast productions across multiple venues
• Work collaboratively with producers, camera operators, and technical crew
• Operate in accordance with established broadcast systems, workflows, and safety requirements
• Represent My Sport Live professionally on site

Requirements

• A valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle are essential, as crew are required to travel to sporting venues across Melbourne and transport equipment as part of their role
• A current Working With Children Check is mandatory due to filming across junior and senior sport (applicants may be in the process of applying at the time of application)
• Strong communication skills, reliability, and the ability to work calmly in live environments

Experience

• Live broadcast experience is required for producer roles
• For general crew roles, prior exposure to live broadcast environments or formal training in the industry is preferred
• Basic filming knowledge, broadcast experience, or relevant training is advantageous
• Training and on-the-job support will be provided where required

Engagement

• Flexible, event-based work, primarily on weekends and evenings
• Ongoing opportunities available through September and beyond
