Job summary

Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service in Gayndah invites you to join as a Speech Pathologist on the Rural Development Pathway. You will deliver generalist services across the age range, helping people improve communication and swallowing outcomes.

This permanent full-time role offers professional development, mentorship and a supportive rural team, with a remuneration package up to 137,761 AUD per year, including salary 83,825 to 120,741 AUD, plus superannuation and annual leave loading.

Qualifications

• Qualification as a Speech Pathologist from a registered tertiary institution, with current membership or eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
• Participation in the HP3 to HP4 Rural Development Pathway and the Intensive Development Plan including completion of all required development activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide generalist speech pathology clinical services to a broad range of clients across the age continuum; aiming to promote, develop and maintain self management principles and independent client functioning.
• Participate in HP3 to HP4 Rural Development Pathway and the Intensive Development Plan.
