Qualifications

• Degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
• Minimum of two years' experience in assessing and treating communication disorders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and maintain organized records.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, and swallowing capabilities.
• Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment outcomes.
• Provide therapy sessions to improve communication and swallowing skills.
• Document client progress and maintain meticulous records per compliance standards.
• Educate clients and families about communication disorders and interventions.
