Job summary

Rural Northwest Health in Warracknabeal is seeking a dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our Allied Health team. You will provide evidence-based assessment, intervention and support across our community, acute and aged care services, working with clients with communication and swallowing difficulties across the lifespan.

The role offers a diverse caseload with opportunities across Warracknabeal, Hopetoun and Beulah campuses, collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to improve

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and SPA membership.
• Clinical experience in public health or hospital settings.
• Understanding of public health sector and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with paediatric, acute, aged care, rehab or community settings.
• Ability to develop evidence-based, person-centred treatment plans.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Working with Children Check and Police Check or willingness to obtain.
• First Aid and CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech pathology assessments and interventions.
• Support clients across lifespan including paediatric to older adults.
• Collaborate with allied health and healthcare teams.
• Deliver evidence-based, person-centred treatment plans.
