Job summary

Healthcarelink Support seeks a Speech Pathologist for a role spanning clinic, community, and work-from-home in Cockburn, WA. You will join a multidisciplinary NDIS team serving clients aged 0-65 with varied diagnoses, delivering communication, swallowing, and AAC assessments and ongoing therapy.

You will influence early intervention through school age, adolescence, and adulthood, with opportunities to tailor client groups and schedules, while benefiting from a competitive remuneration package

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Speech Pathology (or equivalent) is required.
• Certified Practicing SPA membership is required.
• National Police Clearance, Working With Children/Vulnerable People Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance are required.
• Valid Driver's License and Vehicle are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide communication and swallowing assessments and interventions.
• Deliver services across early intervention, school age, adolescent and adult clients within clinic, community, and WFH contexts.
• Develop and review mealtime management plans and dysphagia support.
• Perform Augmentative and Alternative Communication assessments and ongoing therapy.

About the Role

Our client is looking for passionate Speech pathologists to work alongside their multidisciplinary team in the NDIS division performing clinical services to participants aged 0-65 with various diagnoses and disability types. You will work across early intervention, school age, adolescent and adult services with clients who have various presentations, diagnoses and disability types.

You will work with an amazing group of clients with varying complexity, communication and swallowing needs. The type of assessments and interventions you will provide will include:

• Communication Assessments
• Swallowing and Paediatric Feeding (Dysphagia) Assessments
• Mealtime Management Plan development and reviews
• Augmentative and Alternative Communication Assessments
• Ongoing therapy
