Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Speech Pathologist at one of our clinics in Sydney, NSW. The Speech Pathologist will evaluate, diagnose, and create tailored therapy plans for individuals experiencing communication and swallowing difficulties. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, providing treatment and interventions to clients, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, tracking progress, and maintaining accurate clinical records. The role requires ensuring high-quality care and supporting clients in achieving their communication goals.

Qualifications
  • Expertise in Speech Pathology, including understanding communication and swallowing disorders and applying appropriate intervention techniques.
  • Strong skills in patient assessment, therapy planning, and evidence-based practice.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration abilities for working with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Organizational and time management skills to maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure timely case management.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
  • Relevant qualifications in Speech Pathology and current membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel for mobile home visits when required.
  • Experience or interest in working with diverse populations, including children, adults, and older individuals, is an advantage.
