Job summary

Ability Action Australia is seeking Speech Pathologists to deliver high-quality therapeutic services to participants across schools, homes, clinic, telehealth and community settings in Queensland. You will manage an allocated caseload close to your home suburb, while maintaining clinical excellence and NDIS compliance.

You will work from our Yeerongpilly office, benefit from supervision with clinical leads in Speech, access in-house professional development programs, and join a proactive team

Responsibilities

  • Manage an allocated caseload, delivering therapeutic services in line with timelines and clinical protocols
  • Conduct clinical observations and standardised assessments, analyse findings, and develop evidence-based treatment goals tailored to each participant's needs
  • Implement therapeutic interventions grounded in current best practice, monitoring and measuring progress against established goals
  • Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation, progress notes, and participant records in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Ensure all service delivery aligns with NDIS requirements and organisational policies
  • Adjust interventions as needed to optimise participant outcomes
  • Educate and empower families and caregivers by providing strategies and guidance to support therapeutic goals in everyday settings
  • Advocate for participants' needs and rights throughout the therapeutic journey
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care

You will manage an allocated caseload close to your home suburb anywhere in QLD while maintaining clinical excellence and NDIS compliance.
